Back to normal

This website, my blog is back to normal. It has been running on my backup server for a week as the main server has been out of order. I’ve now finished re-installing the operating system Debian on the server Ingrid and setup a new server control panel called Keyhelp Pro. It is running much more secure than the previous Ubuntu with cPanel. I am really sorry for the issues that were caused through the server outage. Over the next weeks all the sites are going to be moving back to Ingrid and the backup server New York will be doing what t’s supposed to do backups.

Outage

Hi all! I am really sorry for any inconvenience some of you had over the past week. There has been an outage on my server and some pretty hefty issues. My server 1 Ingrid had a encountered a virus infection and the control panel I used on this server Ingrid was cPanel and that had a malfunction too. So the whole Ubuntu system has been affected and the server went down. Unfortunately some of the content of this Blog pammesberger.co.uk had gone missing and the layout has reverted back to the 2023 layout. I really apologise for this. I will be working hard to get the site back to what it had been. Many of the blog articles are restored. The BROOLED website is back online too. This site has not been affected so much as the rest of the domains. All content is there and all products and the whole layout is there too. I have tested the website today and the functionality is still working as it should be. Thank goodness. The Website Thermomix-Consultant.com is fully offline as the database had been lost during the outage and I will need to get the site done new. Unfortunately it will take some time to get this site back up. Pridemug.uk is still being investigated. At the moment it looks like the site design is still there and the online designer where you can design and upload your designs to get them printed is working too. The site should be back shortly. MWP-Design.co.uk has been fallen ill to the virus and the whole site design and content seems to have been lost. It will need to be fully recreated and it can take some time until the website is back online. I am very sorry for this. At this time all sites working or not have been migrated to my 2 server New York. The server is a bit small to host all the sites but it is secure and uses Debian OS with Keyhelp as it’s control panel. Once the server Ingrid has been restored fully it will be hosting Debian operating System (OS) and Keyhelp as Control Panel. Working websites will be one by one migrated back to Ingrid once they are working and New York will server it’s original purpose again as trial and backup server. Again, I am very sorry for this to have happened but it was beyond my control.

WELEDA Wellbeing Advisor

Recently I have made the decision to join the Weleda Wellbeing Advisor group. So what does a Weleda Wellbeing Advisor do? It is a holistic position advising customers on Weleda skin care products and homeopathic medicines. Those products are all produced and marketed by Weleda that has been founded in Switzerland by Dr. Ita Wegman and Rudolf Steiner in 1921. Rudolf Steiner is the founder of Anthroprosophy and Bio Dynamic Gardening. Weleda uses 98.9% organically grown products to produce their products, it is cruelty free and based on latest research. The UK office of Weleda was founded in 1925. Today Weleda has a Garden you can visit and creates new products based on scientific research and development. Weleda products are sold world wide. I will in due course write more about Weleda and my experience with the company. My training has just started and the main induction is going to be on Monday. My new business cards have arrived too. So yes I have created those nice looking cards myself and I am really happy with the outcome. I have printed them myself at my office and used my card cutter to cut them. So everything is home made. I have also ordered the Weleda Starter Pack and topped it up with the missing items from the starter pack to complete the product lines that there were.

Last-day at work

It’s been coming for quite some time, and I’ve been unhappy and been bullied and put down by my current team leader. Today has definitely been my last day and I’m having the freedom now to do what I think is best for me. I’m a bit sad that I could not tell some people that I really valued with in the Faith and Belief Network and in the Union. However the Union is aware of me leaving as I had representation from them. It’s not what I wanted. I wish I could tell you everything but the NDA prevents that. I’m happy to say that the people who supported me are still my friends. I hope that will not change.

Work is nasty right now

For the last 12 months I had the most horrible team leader at work. She is a nightmare. It caused me to get depressed and develop anxiety and bad sleep during the night waking up several times fearing I got to go back to work the next day. The whole environment has been really toxic for over a year and I am really looking to change companies. It’s been the most amazing place to work for two years until team leaders and HEO changed and became worse every month. The only reason I hold out at the job is that I have other duties such as PCS Union Representative on Wednesday and Thursday and the Faith & Belief Network on a Friday. Those are the only reasons I keep this job. It’s mostly because on those 3 days I work with the most amazing people. This job is stressing me a lot at the moment and is playing with my mental health and I know it’s something I need to think about. However, the job is secure I mean it’s not paying great but it is paying, but is it worth it at the end of the day?

What’s happening with Pridemug?

Hey everyone.  I’ve used the easter weekend to update the website. I’ve decided to re-open my Etsy Shop, and attach the domains http://www.pammesberger.com and http://www.markstshirts.com to the shop and create a pattern website to host my Etsy shop. I thought I reconnect Etsy because some people use it and it gives my designs a wider audience. I still have to figure out how to better sort the products and avoid that the same designs appear twice on the main page like as a mug or as a T-shirt… The reason I’ve stopped using Etsy was that the fees are really high when you sell something and you have to pay on top for showcasing a product on the website and for the website itself. So it’s most likely a minus each month unless you get lots of orders but then the fees are also a lot.  I have also started a Shopify store this easter weekend. All the pride products I have created are already online in Shopify, Shopify and my own website http://www.pridemug.uk will have the same items because as soon as I create them they will go online there because there are no extra fees for adding a new product. I hope that because of the way Shopify works I will get more exposure and have people buy my designs and t-shirts. Also the other designs will come online bit by bit. I have made more than 600 designs and not all of them are yet on a T-Shirt or coffee mug. http://www.pridemug.uk is still showing my own website and blog and you can create your own design there for free and I will print it or select one of my many created designs. The Shopify store is being found at http://www.pridemug.co.uk

Busy Week

Wednesday I was back at my day job working from home on my Union day. I so much wished my vacations would have lasted a bit longer it was definitely to short, but hey Christmas is coming soon and I booked the 20/12 to the 7/1 off. So I really hope I get all the days I was booking…  I’m really glad it’s Friday tomorrow and that the week is over. I know you’s say it was a short week but well enough to do. Thinking of Christmas I have designed a lot of Scratch Cards lately to give to my faithful customers. So I made branded cards for Avon, Amway, Nutrilite and The Body Shop. Maybe it was a task a bit to big and not thought through properly I could have just made one or two with just my own branding on. But this way, I can make it more related to what people purchased from me. Not sure what’s better really. I’m happy with my designs, and some you can see below. I can’t believe everyone is already talking about Christmas it’s still quite a while but the shops already sell advent calendars and Christmas packaging. What a strange time. The next thing that was going on was Ralf. My Lurcher dog, I decided after I have been fostering him for some time to adopt him so when I get paid next month I will take the steps necessary to officially adopt Ralf as my pet. He’s so much a member of the family already and I can’t imagine him that someone else would adopt him. He’s such a wonderful dog and yes he has issues from his past but I have enrolled him in Reactive Dog classes with the Dogs Trust and an extra sessions with behavioural specialists. Its not cheap but as every member of the family and as the commercial for Olay says He is worth it… On the next side you see some pictures of Ralf I am sure he won’t mind them being shown… This afternoon I tried the first print run of the scratch cards, on my Minolta Bizhub c450i printer and the business card cutter, in fact the cards are going to be business card size and at the back they’re going to have my contact details so customers know who gave it to them  but the margins are still a bit off so will be going back to the drawing board tomorrow afternoon and make sure I fix the problem, and then hopefully the back and front page will aline properly and I can get it printed. It’s been a long run to get that far. It is however very satisfying feeling to know it’s been done and now I can print it… I was hoping to get some training Videos to watch and get my Cameo 4 Pro that I purchased for my Birthday. Can you believe I still have not used it? Well with having started to re-design my MWP-Design Website I’ve not really had the time for that. I hope I can manage maybe this weekend. I would really like to know how to use it especially since I purchased the Business License for the Silhouette Studio yesterday. At least it’s only a one time license and not an annual fee a lot of software you have to re purchase every year now but by the looks of it with them it is a one time thing and you need it to run the Cameo 4 Pro.  Anything you want to read about? Why not post an reply to this blog post?? Just let me know you’re reading it.

MWP-Design

oday I have decided to give MWP-Design an overhaul. It will receive a complete new design and navigation. It will also get a new online designer, where people will be able to design everything themselves or they can change an existing design. I hope when I have changed the design that the website will get me orders. The last design clearly has not worked because over the last 6 months I’ve not had a single order or request, so something was clearly off. I’m also re developing the content that I am going to display. Maybe I do a more personal approach no idea if it’s working or not but worth a try. I will post pictures of the new site design, once it is completed. I am working hard on it during my annual leave from work to get it all up and running again. It is not just an investment in time to re arrange everything I also invest some money into the site. The new online designer I will be using can connect right with my Minolta Bizhub printer and once an order has been placed and is paid for it automatically can send the order to the printer. That is an huge advantage.

My Atlanta

WorkUSAAtlantaLife Hello beautiful people. Today I am writing about some beautiful memories that I really feel I want to share with myself and friends.  In 2009 that’s a while back already I worked in Atlanta, GA and I really enjoyed the time there and I loved the climate, the people, food and well work was cool too. I have stayed with some amazing people close to the city center. I worked downtown and while I was there met great people and made some new friends. I’ve often looked back at my time in Atlanta as I wanted to stay there for longer. Work was wonderful experience and got me a bit more behind the scene of a big TV network and news. I learned a great deal and it was fun on top. Although, people at the company expected you to be there all the time, and available even when you had your day off but it was great. The learning curve went up really steep and if you know Atlanta then you know what news network is based there and you can guess where I used to work. International news was fun.  Well I hope it’s not too much to share 30 pictures but yeah I thought they were nice and give some good insights into my Atlanta experience.  Do you like my blog?
