Back to normal

This website, my blog is back to normal. It has been running on my backup server for a week as the main server has been out of order. I’ve now finished re-installing the operating system Debian on the server Ingrid and setup a new server control panel called Keyhelp Pro. It is running much more secure than the previous Ubuntu with cPanel. I am really sorry for the issues that were caused through the server outage. Over the next weeks all the sites are going to be moving back to Ingrid and the backup server New York will be doing what t’s supposed to do backups.

Baking

Today I felt like I wanted something my grandma typically made around this time of the year. It’s called apricot cake, a typical viennese desert or coffee cake. You need: How to: Combine butter and powdered sugar and beat until soft and smooth. Add the eggs one by one and keep combining until all eggs are in the bowl and mixed. Now add the flour bit by bit and keep combining until you have a smooth dough. Using a baking tray put a baking paper on the tray and put the dough evenly on the baking tray. Now add the apricots. Pre-Heat the oven to 160C and bake for 20 to 35 minutes depending on your oven. When you take it out, let it cool down and put powdered sugar on top. You can also replace Apricots by Strawberries, Peaches, Cherries and other fresh fruit. The only fruits that don’t work are apples, pears, oranges…

Outage

Hi all! I am really sorry for any inconvenience some of you had over the past week. There has been an outage on my server and some pretty hefty issues. My server 1 Ingrid had a encountered a virus infection and the control panel I used on this server Ingrid was cPanel and that had a malfunction too. So the whole Ubuntu system has been affected and the server went down. Unfortunately some of the content of this Blog pammesberger.co.uk had gone missing and the layout has reverted back to the 2023 layout. I really apologise for this. I will be working hard to get the site back to what it had been. Many of the blog articles are restored. The BROOLED website is back online too. This site has not been affected so much as the rest of the domains. All content is there and all products and the whole layout is there too. I have tested the website today and the functionality is still working as it should be. Thank goodness. The Website Thermomix-Consultant.com is fully offline as the database had been lost during the outage and I will need to get the site done new. Unfortunately it will take some time to get this site back up. Pridemug.uk is still being investigated. At the moment it looks like the site design is still there and the online designer where you can design and upload your designs to get them printed is working too. The site should be back shortly. MWP-Design.co.uk has been fallen ill to the virus and the whole site design and content seems to have been lost. It will need to be fully recreated and it can take some time until the website is back online. I am very sorry for this. At this time all sites working or not have been migrated to my 2 server New York. The server is a bit small to host all the sites but it is secure and uses Debian OS with Keyhelp as it’s control panel. Once the server Ingrid has been restored fully it will be hosting Debian operating System (OS) and Keyhelp as Control Panel. Working websites will be one by one migrated back to Ingrid once they are working and New York will server it’s original purpose again as trial and backup server. Again, I am very sorry for this to have happened but it was beyond my control.

So sad, my aunt has passed away

Today we that is my Mum and I had news from home in Vienna that my Aunt Larissa has passed away over night. She had been ill for some time and has been in hospice care for over a month now. They could not tell us how long she would be there but we knew it would be sooner or later that we have to say good bye. Larissa and I have not always been friends in fact we have not spoken for a while because I was offended by some of her words but we had spoken for a very last time in January this year and she spoke really softly and kindly. My Mum also said that she had always asked about me. We as a family are all working now together to organise that we all can come together in Vienna for a farewell. At this point I am really sad and I can’t really comprehend what has happened yet. So I better stop.

Feeling great

As you know I have left my old employment at the end of March and I had a lot of time to myself and to relax. I’ve used the time to have a great Birthday on the 3rd just with myself and my Mum. It’s been a really good time. Eating my favourite food, then some Gelato and enjoying my apartment. I can also say that all the anxiety and depression I was suffering from over the months that had been caused my my former team leader has now fully gone away and I feel so much more better. It’s been weeks of change, enabling a better lifestyle and enjoying the time with myself and my dog. At the end when you compare I moved to Whitley Bay 4 years ago I had an empty apartment and slept on the floor for weeks because the bed I wanted had a delivery time, look at my apartment now it’s fully done and carpeted, the garden is in a good condition and garden furniture. I’ve spent about 11K over the past 4 years in doing this place up to my standard. There is a lot I can be happy and thankful about.

Am I Boring?

Hey’ll hope ya all having a great Sunday. So I’ve received my WELEDA wellness advisor starter package in the mail and I made an unboxing video and shared it on my Facebook and TikTok channels.  Speaking with a friend today she said that my blog is dry and boring! What do you guys think. What should I change?  I’ve tried to make it as interesting as possible and share what is important and has happened. I mean maybe I am boring and that’s why I’m single. Let me know in the comments below what you think.  Over the next weeks I’ll talk a little more about the new Weleda advisor role I’ve started this week.  Have a good Sunday. I’ll see you here next week.

Mutual another try

Sitting in general conference session on this Saturday I’ve decided to fine the mutual dating site another try and subscribed for another six months. Last time I was on the site it was full of crazy woman, scammers and liars. Let’s see what the site is like this time around.  Don’t get me wrong I would love to find someone who is from Utah to spend time together walk hand in hand with while enjoying the scenery at Zion’s national park or just have a stroll through down town salt lake but the likely hood of that happening is slim. I’d also love to find someone to live in Miami or in fact any other place I think I’m getting to a point where I miss someone at my side.  It’s incredible how many people swiped up on me in just the first 24 hours however those who answered my first message remain slim. So am I doing the right thing? Speaking to my mum about it between sessions she said no risk no fun and sometimes you have to take risks in life. Yes I know and I know the right person is out there somewhere. Maybe I’m just too comfortable at the moment. I rather design new shirts and mugs right now they don’t hurt and embarrass you they either sell or don’t. Hmm what a marvellous work and a wonder president Hinckley once said and indeed looking back at the conference it was.

From Hot Water Bottle to Fan

Ever since I moved from London to Whitley Bay some 3 years ago I’ve always felt cold at home. My home never reached more than 8 to 10C in the spring/summer without adding heating. Even with the heating on it’s never been more than 17c/20C. so quite cold and most of the time I used to sit at home around with two jumpers on or two pairs of socks or a hot water bottle or a blanket. Whenever I went to bed even during the summer I went to sleep with a hot water bottle to keep warm. A couple weeks ago a friend at work suggested to buy two Dehumidifiers one for the back and one for the front of the apartment. The two should solve the problem and you should get a warm apartment my work colleague said. It has worked miracles really. I’ve had those two dehumidifiers work day and night and in general I need to empty the water bucket twice a day and they are full each time, and the average temperature in the apartment went up to 20-24C without everything. No need for putting the heating on or sitting with a hot water bottle. Having grown up with Air Condition in all rooms ever since I can remember, I’ve not been used to the concept of Dehumidifiers in a home as an air condition filters humidity automatically and that was something totally new to me. But it has worked. the last couple nights it was so hot in the apartment I was sweating. That has never happened to me before since I moved here from London I was always cold. Honestly I’m rather hot than cold and I had to open the windows during the night and turn the dehumidifier off because google said it won’t work properly with the window open. It is one amazing experience. as I said I got two of them, one is sitting in my living room that works for the living room, kitchen and entrance hall and the other one is standing in the back hall and covers the two bed and bathrooms and the office. It cost me something in the £500’ds to buy them both but it was a really good investment and I expect my gas bill to go down as I won’t need to put on the heating in the evening as I had before. I always had the heating on even in the summer from 4am to 7:30 and from 7:30 to 10:00pm. At the same time saying that maybe my electricity bill might go up because the two machines are running almost 24/7. But I am getting the humidity levels down. when I started off the humidity was at 75% to 90%. Now it is down to 55 – 60% which is a great improvement.  How do you like my Blog? Please before you go leave a comment on my blog to let me know you were here.

Busy Week

Wednesday I was back at my day job working from home on my Union day. I so much wished my vacations would have lasted a bit longer it was definitely to short, but hey Christmas is coming soon and I booked the 20/12 to the 7/1 off. So I really hope I get all the days I was booking…  I’m really glad it’s Friday tomorrow and that the week is over. I know you’s say it was a short week but well enough to do. Thinking of Christmas I have designed a lot of Scratch Cards lately to give to my faithful customers. So I made branded cards for Avon, Amway, Nutrilite and The Body Shop. Maybe it was a task a bit to big and not thought through properly I could have just made one or two with just my own branding on. But this way, I can make it more related to what people purchased from me. Not sure what’s better really. I’m happy with my designs, and some you can see below. I can’t believe everyone is already talking about Christmas it’s still quite a while but the shops already sell advent calendars and Christmas packaging. What a strange time. The next thing that was going on was Ralf. My Lurcher dog, I decided after I have been fostering him for some time to adopt him so when I get paid next month I will take the steps necessary to officially adopt Ralf as my pet. He’s so much a member of the family already and I can’t imagine him that someone else would adopt him. He’s such a wonderful dog and yes he has issues from his past but I have enrolled him in Reactive Dog classes with the Dogs Trust and an extra sessions with behavioural specialists. Its not cheap but as every member of the family and as the commercial for Olay says He is worth it… On the next side you see some pictures of Ralf I am sure he won’t mind them being shown… This afternoon I tried the first print run of the scratch cards, on my Minolta Bizhub c450i printer and the business card cutter, in fact the cards are going to be business card size and at the back they’re going to have my contact details so customers know who gave it to them  but the margins are still a bit off so will be going back to the drawing board tomorrow afternoon and make sure I fix the problem, and then hopefully the back and front page will aline properly and I can get it printed. It’s been a long run to get that far. It is however very satisfying feeling to know it’s been done and now I can print it… I was hoping to get some training Videos to watch and get my Cameo 4 Pro that I purchased for my Birthday. Can you believe I still have not used it? Well with having started to re-design my MWP-Design Website I’ve not really had the time for that. I hope I can manage maybe this weekend. I would really like to know how to use it especially since I purchased the Business License for the Silhouette Studio yesterday. At least it’s only a one time license and not an annual fee a lot of software you have to re purchase every year now but by the looks of it with them it is a one time thing and you need it to run the Cameo 4 Pro.  Anything you want to read about? Why not post an reply to this blog post?? Just let me know you’re reading it.

Sunday

Hey ya’ll. I hope you had an as amazing Sunday as I did today. It was a perfect day sleeping in, taking a walk with Ralf along the coast of Whitley Bay. I love those days and I really love taking walks along the beach or coast. It was amazingly sunny and pretty warm with about 23C that’s about 73F, it wasn’t too hot or too cold just right. Like a mild sunny day in spring at home. But considering that we’re already in September it was great. Weather here in Whitley Bay is not really what I call in my comfort zone, it’s ways toooo cold for me. The hottest day we had this summer was 25C that is what we have in April at home, it’s usually quite cold here. The only really nice thing is the sea and beach. However unlike in Miami you can’t swim in the sea because the water is too cold. Living here for me is a big compromise, and I would trade it for Miami, or Los Angeles, or Texas any time. When it comes to temperature my comfort zone is starting at 24c or 75F below that it’s not really something I like I can tolerate it as I can put multiply layers on but nothing I would choose really.  If you like my blog, just share it with your friends. Can I please ask you to leave a comment??? Let’s see who’s first.
